Peace, Love, Rock 'n' Roll
Project type
Wedding
Location
Thessaloniki
They had never been particularly interested in following the expected order of things. Their home, their music, the way they dressed, the way they lived together. There was an ease to making their own choices and leaving everyone else enough room to make theirs.
So that became the wedding.
Peace, Love, Rock ’n’ Roll wasn't a theme. It was permission. Permission to order a beer instead of a cocktail. To sit down for dinner or eat standing at the bar. To move, stay, talk, dance, disappear into the crowd and come back when the music got better. There was no single correct way to experience the evening because there wasn't one correct version of the people inside it.
That freedom shaped the creative direction too. It was December, so Christmas entered naturally through red ribbon, winter greens, warm lights and mulled wine. Their own world brought black, leather, posters, brick and rock ’n’ roll. We kept both, allowing something traditionally festive to become rougher, louder and much more personal.
The space followed the same thinking. Instead of transforming a rock bar into a conventional reception venue, we worked with what made it a bar in the first place. Food became part of it. Drinks stayed central. Tables existed without dictating where anyone should be. The usual boundaries between dinner, drinks and party became deliberately difficult to find.
And that changed the energy completely. People weren't waiting for the next part of the wedding to begin. They were already inside it. Eating, drinking, moving, meeting, dancing. Sparklers appeared between conversations. Music kept pulling people closer. By night, the room felt less like a reception and more like the kind of place nobody was particularly interested in leaving.
Because a wedding can look incredible and still feel like somebody else's.
This one was theirs.
