La Dolce Evita

Evita means life in Italian.

A name like that comes with possibilities.

Her mother would probably call them ευ ζην. An athlete by nature and by discipline, she believes in movement, growth and in using life well. There is a certain romance in the way she sees the world, but never passivity. Life is something to participate in.

Her father has his own philosophy.

He believes in the table. In good food, people you want to stay with, pleasure taken seriously enough to make time for it. His compass points naturally a little further west, towards the Italian art of La Dolce Vita.

Evita arrived between these two ideas.

So we introduced them properly.

La Dolce Evita.

At its centre, a butterfly.

Not simply because spring had arrived. We were interested in its capacity to change completely and still remain itself. For Evita, it carried a wish from her parents: the freedom to grow without being told in advance what shape that growth should take.

The butterfly became our visual grammar. Sometimes graphic, sometimes three-dimensional, sometimes barely a detail. It changed material and scale as it travelled through the baptism pieces, favors, objects, sweets and space.

Spring brought the rest into focus.

Flowers loosened the composition, carrying some of her mother’s romanticism with them. Citrus brought freshness and a sharper note. Colour moved between softness and energy. Together, they formed Spring Spritz, a visual language with enough structure to hold everything together and enough lightness to let it move.

And the experience followed the same idea.

The ritual gave way to pizza outdoors, drinks in hand, children moving freely and conversations with no particular reason to end. Nothing changed direction. The celebration simply became looser, louder and more alive.

Which, in this family, is part of living well too.
